What makes Keto Chicken Nuggets healthy?

Apart from having high protein content, Chicken is rich in amino acids, which are essential for healthy bone mineral density. It also helps to prevent Osteoporosis, often seen to occur in old age. It is also a good source of Vitamin B12, Choline, Zinc, Iron etc. Since this healthy recipe uses chicken breast, which is the most nutritious part of the chicken, it is extremely nourishing and full of gusto. For the fat content, we are using the Italian hard cheese, Parmesan. Parmesan is an excellent source of protein and fats that are medium and short chains, which are rapid energy sources and do not contribute to accumulation in the body, so you don’t have to worry about getting fat.

Ingredients to make Keto Chicken Nuggets

1lb Chicken Breast

1 tsp Soy Sauce

1 tsp Vinegar

1 tsp Mustard sauce

1 tbsp Black Pepper

Salt (to taste)

2 whole egg 

1 slice of bread (any bread of your choice)

1 cup Bread crumbs (Switch to Gluten-free if you prefer)

½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated

How to make Keto Chicken Nuggets

Step 1 : In a food processor, put in the chicken breast and pulse.

Step 2 : When the meat is finely processed, add in a slice of bread and process again.

Step 3 : Now add the soy sauce, vinegar, mustard sauce, black pepper, salt and one egg to the chicken. Mix thoroughly and shape into nuggets.

Step 4 : In a plate, mix together breadcrumbs and grated Parmesan cheese.

Step 5 : Whisk one egg in a small bowl.

Step 6 : You can either fry it or bake it. To bake the nuggets, Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. To fry the nuggets, heat some oil in a wok.

Step 7 : Dip the shaped nuggets into the egg and then to the breadcrumb-Parmesan mix and line on the parchment paper, bake until browned on the outside, for about 15-20 minutes or fry in the oil until browned.

Step 8 : Enjoy with your favourite dip!
